Idk about you guys, but being able to loot zombies was how I could tell the difference between a dead zombie, and a zombie that's just knocked down. For example, if my health is low and i don't have meds, I go searching for zombie nurses in hopes to find painkillers, or mothers when I need food, etc. Especially early in a new save, the loot is often the only thing that provokes me to go kill a zombie i see instead of avoiding it. It felt natural and imo it was a pretty crucial part of the game. Especially after horde nights, going around and looting the dozens of bodies always felt so rewarding and fun (and even if you're not into that, you don't HAVE to loot zombies) His excuse was it "just causes clutter" and loot from zombies is just junk anyways.Īm I the only one who thinks this is a terrible 'feature'? For those of you who haven't seen Joel's new video on A17, basically you can't loot zombies anymore (except for 'boss' zombies).
